O'Connor & Graney (Est 1984) is looking for an experienced Livestock Agent / Auctioneer to join our team. We are an independently owned Agent and proudly service the Limestone Coast and Western Districts of Victoria. We value the relationships we have forged with our clients over this time and the successful applicant will share in an already existing client base.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Stock Agent to join the O&G Team. We will provide ongoing training and development so you can continue to upskill and cement yourself in our business and the industry. You will be required to work flexible times /hours, in an often high pressured environment. Selling of livestock and farm-to-farm sales should excite you and managing all aspects of livestock should be your passion.
- Be self-motivated and display experience and knowledge of the livestock industry
- Maintain excellent customer relationships
- Possess outstanding communication skills
- Have the ability to work both in a team or independently
- Trust your judgement and use your initiative
- Have a desire for personal growth
- Show sound knowledge of saleyards clerking and interest in computing of sales
