We are
seeking to appoint an Advertising & Marketing Support Officer to undertake
the creation and placement of a wide range of press and digital advertising, as
well as assist our membership in a range of marketing activities.
In
this pivotal and busy role, the successful applicant reports to the General
Manager.
Who we’re looking for…
- Coordinate and create member print advertising i.e., livestock, property and clearing sale advertisements efficiently into state-based rural newspapers, ensuring accuracy in artwork and pricing to members.
- Provide advice and assistance to the General Manager on promotional, media and marketing opportunities as well as industry trends and engagement.
- Organise, design and manage artwork for online and print including prospectus flyers and other marketing materials as required to promote rma network.
- Assist with timely creation, editing and uploading to social media livestock sale video reports.
- Attend and assist with coordination of events including rma network’s Annual Conference and ensure adequate content and photography for social media, website, and member communications.
- Ensure rma network’s publications, reports, correspondence, and internal written communications are at a high quality at all times.
- Maintain and update the rma.com.au website with updated content, articles and sales reports as well as assist members with updating and enhancing their profiles and livestock, property and clearing sale listings.
- Provide support to NSW Membership Coordinator role.
- General office duties as required.
The experience and skills you’ll have…
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role and/or
qualifications in design, marketing or similar.
- Demonstrated experience in writing and editing of
communication materials for a wide range of audiences with excellent written
and verbal communication skills.
- Solid experience and expertise in the use of social media
as a tool for communication, brand awareness, promotional content and audience
engagement.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to
multitask, particularly at peak times.
- Ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines.
- Positive and proactive approach demonstrating initiative
within the role.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with
individuals across a variety of sectors.
- Advanced standard of Adobe and MS Office skills including
Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Possess a keen eye for detail in design and artwork
creation.
- Digital photographic and video skills/knowledge.
