An excellent opportunity to acquire classed in breeders from a well-established flock. The Smith family have bred self-replacing merino ewes for the last 38 years, with selected Bundilla sires since 2015 and Egelabra prior. The three age groups listed have all been classed in by Austin Grace with the flock being classed by Paul Kelly for many years prior. Rams are selected annually with an emphasis on a balance in figures, contributing to the evenness in the ewes. This line of ewes represents the complete run of Blue tag ewes located at Bauloora. Lambs were weaned and ewes shorn on the 31st August; they are medium- to large-frame ewes. Of the weighed sample they averaged of 49.8kg liveweight at assessment. The ewes are largely in 2 score condition; however are responding very quickly post weaning/shearing. Buyers please note due to contractor availability at the time, the majority of the ewes are not mulesed; however, a small percentage are. -
