A top quality line of weaned, grain-fed suckers, offering a great opportunity for a relatively short term finish into trade new season lamb markets, or alternatively, continue on with a grain finishing program to take them out to heavy export weights, for greater margins. These lambs are very well bred, showing good body length & carcass shape, & are sired by ASHBANK rams, over very good quality Merino ewes, with excellent frame.They possess the breeding potential to grow into heavy export weights, given time & continued access to quality feed. Vendor would normally finish these lambs, especially given the close proximity to a result, but has made the decision to make room for more breeders, coming into the Spring joining season, allowing for a great opportunity for those with surplus feed, to finish these lambs & reap the reward. These lambs would benefit from being shorn coming into the warmer months & will turn into weighty lambs very quickly on continued quality feed. All lambs were individually weighed out from 31-40kg to average 37.2kg lvwt, through the auto drafter & are very forward in condition, having had access to grain for a substantial period. Most of the lambs sampled at the top end of the weight bracket presented as either 3 score or very near to it. BLACKSKY P/S lambs are renowned performers which are rarely offered as store lambs, presenting finishers with an excellent opportunity to secure top quality young lambs which have been fully inducted onto grain.
