Description

77 very well bred Angus feeder steers, JULY/AUGUST 2025 Drop, sired by MILLAH MURRAH blood Angus bulls. This is a very even line of ideal feeder steers, which are really on the move, recording impressive average daily weight gains of 1.96 kg since last weighing, & showcasing what can be achieved when the right mix of genetics/optimal feed & weather conditions, & good management practices combine at the one time. This line represents the lead draft out of approx 150 steers in the drop, which are presenting as very forward in condition, with shape & softness in abundance. These steers are very well balanced, exhibiting very good body length & depth, possessing the depth of bone and squareness to develop into very well muscled, meaty calves at the back end of a finishing program. These steers are mostly vendor bred, with the addition of 13 steers purchased as weaners throughout the draft, which are also MILLAH. MURRAH blood. Steers are very quiet & would adapt very quickly to a feedlot induction period, having been trained on supplementary feeding through access to hay, as well as showing familiarity to regular handling. A great opportunity to secure an outstanding line of well managed, predominantly vendor bred calves, with all necessary health treatments up to date & a meticulous record of impressive daily weight gains. An ideal line of very even steers, well suited for a finishing program, where consistency & quality of product is paramount, which come highly recommended.
