74 very well bred, weaned Angus steers, JULY/AUGUST '25 Drop, sired by MILLAH MURRAH blood Angus bulls out of large framed Angus cows. This is a very even line of ideal back-grounder weight steers to put away on feed over the Autumn/Winter period & target feeder markets towards the end of Spring. These steers are very well balanced, exhibiting excellent body length & carcass shape, combined with the depth of bone and squareness to develop into very meaty calves at the back end of a finishing program. Steers are very quiet, having been well managed & were a pleasure to handle in the yards. A great opportunity to secure an outstanding line of vendor bred calves, with all necessary health treatments up to date & a meticulous record of consistently high daily weight gains, in spite of feed quality diminishing with the dry weather. A 25% tail of lighter calves were weighed out & removed at assessment, leaving a very even line of top of the drop, quality calves which come highly recommended.
