The Timanda cattle are moderate framed cattle bred for maternal traits & high growth. The steer portion have sold to the same feedlot for a number of years; this relationship was built because of the high growth rates that result in the perfect cattle for feed-lotting. You will notice that these heifers have had plenty of animal health treatments lately except for a drench this is because this herd gets faecal egg counts done and regularly have low worm burden.
