Description
Buyers 53 x 53 Angus & Belmont Red X Heifers & Calves with good healthy Angus X flatback calves at foot. Cows are best described overall as medium to large frame relative to age and in store condition. Calves range from 80kg to 284kg to average 145kg at assessment. Heifers are doing a good job on calves considering the drier season being experienced as first calvers. Heifers will fatten to good killable weights on fresh feed to make an ideal fatten & split unit for the winter crops. Heifers were preg tested undetectable prior to assessment but have had access to bulls for a couple of months. At assessment 1 x calf had a bad eye but was treated at assessment also 1 x heifer was noticed to have a little bit of blue eye scarring not seen as an issue with her. Good quiet future breeders that would not be offered for sale if it wasn't for the seasonal conditions. Vendor also has another b-double in the same sale.
