The vendors are presenting a lovely run of Charolais cross heifers which offer several options for purchasers. These heifers are very good quality and could be excellent future breeders or are right in the slot for domestic feedyards. They were purchased from breeder in the Northern Rivers area and are by good quality Ayr Charolais bulls. They have been on agistment at Carinda since mid June and have been under good management in that period. There are approx 4 hfrs with small horns and a couple with scurrs. There is 1 grey baldy hfr in the lot. The black hfr in video is NOT in this lot. The majority are soft yellow or yellow baldy cattle with good bone and stretch. Weights saw a low of 325 kg and a top of 398kg to average 366 after 2 hrs in yards. The cattle are very good to handle in the paddock but are still a little bit timid in the yards untill they settle. Once settled they were very easy to handle and weigh. Should be a neat 2 decks.
