Stock Description
58 SIL 2yr old composite ewes. All joined to a Chromedale composite ram. The Chrome rams purchased averaged $2400 so they are quality rams. The ewes were sourced from 3 properties in Western Vic. 32 are from 'Yat Nat' near Balmoral, 21 are from the Nagorcka family near Tarrington and 5 are from 'Chrome' at Hamilton. There are 39 twin bearing ewes and 19 singles. They were shorn in March and treated with Exsinosad. These ewes did not have a lamb as lambs as they did not see a ram. A percentage of the ewes are mulesed. The rams went in on the 20/3 and came out on the 1/5. An even line of 2yr composite ewes to start lambing in Aug.
