Presenting a very neat, even line of well bred and well grown 1st cross ewe lambs. They are very good quality and display good growth for age being Sept/ Oct drop lambs and weighing 61kg after 1 hour in the yards. Vendors have done an excellent job to present these ewes in this condition given the recent persistent wet weather. They have been shorn twice, once at weaning and then again in April which has contributed to their growth. I observed several ewes with black spots on their ears and a couple on their legs but none in the wool. Some ewes are carrying a small amount of Bathurst burr around their head (see pics) but in general they are very clean coming off heavy black country. You will see some manure stain in pics but overall they are clean behind. These lambs are some of the better ewes I have assessed this year and the vendors are very particular with their ewe and ram selections. Noticed one ewe only with very small scurrs. Vendor is willing to assist with freight.
