400 Merino ewes, comprising 168 2018 drop - orange tags, 71 2017 drop - white tags & 160 2016 & 2015 drop - black and blue, April shorn, mulesed, Gudair vaccinated, 155% SIL to Ellingerrin Border Leicesters - 224 multiples & 174 singles to lamb mid August for 8 weeks. These ewes, principally young, were classed to be retained by Wingiel, but due to the high conception rate this year, are surplus to their requirements. Wingiel’s 6300 ewes shorn in April, (pre lambing) cut 4 kgs at 7 months. Recently shorn these ewes are a great opportunity to produce a massive amount of lambs with the right genetics for future prime lamb breeding. A pre lambing drench and vaccination will be given prior to delivery.
Bred true to type & with these genetics prospective purchasers can secure a good line of healthy SIL ewes, ready to lamb. This high fertile flock is managed with the strictest animal health protocols.
