Description

A very nice lot of future breeders that possess the genetics to turn into large matrons. The vendors present these each year and they appear to be getting even better. The lambs have good length and are heavy boned and have been well received by previous purchasers. Under good management they have grown out well but still have scope to develop and there should be no reason why they wouldn't join straight away if required. They averaged 50.5 kg after applied curfew with only 7 lambs (of lambs sampled) under 45 kg and heaviest 62kg. They are clean with the odd one with a bit of mud smear along side due to recent rain. A fair percentage (approx 30%) would have some sort of black colouring on ears not uncommon for the breed. The family uses Superborder genetics from the Cooinda stud near Gilgandra which seems to be evident in the weight for age and constitution. Very nice lambs.
