Insurance options available to RMA Network members and their clients
Livestock in Transit insurance
Available through RMA Network members, Livestock in Transit Insurance provides cover for livestock being transported between properties, saleyards, buyers and vendors across Australia.
Cover includes death or physical injury during transit, theft, loading and unloading, non-delivery, and escape following an accident, subject to policy terms and conditions.
Additional benefits include agistment following injury, mustering costs, clean-up and disposal costs, and expenses incurred to minimise further loss.
Debtors insurance
Available to RMA Network members, Debtors Insurance helps protect against eligible unpaid accounts, with approved buyer limits and ongoing credit management support.
Cover responds when an approved buyer fails to pay an eligible account, subject to approved credit limits and the policy terms, conditions and requirements.
Members can request credit limits for new buyers, with approved limits assessed under the program, and ongoing support available from RMA Insurance Brokers.
Stud Stock insurance
Available through RMA Network members, Stud Stock Insurance provides protection for eligible stud livestock against specified mortality and loss of use risks from sale through to ownership.
Cover includes death from accident, illness or disease, humane destruction, transit and, where selected, loss of use, subject to policy terms and eligibility.
For eligible sale purchases, cover commences from the fall of the hammer. Private sale cover may also be available, subject to application and acceptance.

Cover may include property, business interruption, liability, commercial motor, professional indemnity, management liability and cyber insurance.
The RMA Insurance Brokers team reviews existing cover, considers changes in the business and helps arrange insurance that reflects current operations and risks.
Member Referral Support
RMA Network members have a clear referral pathway to RMA Insurance Brokers, with the broking team providing insurance advice and support directly to the client.
With the client’s permission, the member provides the client’s contact details to RMA Insurance Brokers. The broking team then contacts the client directly to discuss their insurance needs.
Clients can be referred for farm, business, specialist and personal asset insurance, with access to insurance advice, arranging cover and claims support from RMA Insurance Brokers.
